A must read for beginners or those just joining us...
Welcome! We've got a great group and are happy to have you join us!
Our group classes are designed to be FUN and CHALLENGING for all members, but are NEVER meant to push you beyond your limits or into doing any exercises/activities that are beyond your physical capabilities.
Group classes may have people of various fitness levels. Instruction on proper form and variations of exercises will be provided during class which are less/more challenging for all members. Cueing will be provided on proper form throughout class. Only do those versions your are comfortable with.
The rule is ... if you feel ANY type of discomfort or pain, or aren't sure if an activity or exercise feels right for you, STOP! and notify the instructor.
Only you know how you feel and you must speak up! The instructor will help you attempt to modify the exercise, or provide you with an alternative exercise to better meet your needs. NEVER push through or to the point of pain.
Prior to beginning class, you will fill out an intake form nd wavier. PLEASE be honest on the intake and be sure to let the instructor know if you have any special needs or limitations based on your medical history or physical condition.
Remember, PRIVATE LESSONS are always available if your needs necessitate additional instruction.
